— Will You Join Our Board?

At our Annual General Meetings on June 16, 2026, parents will elect the volunteers who will help lead the Rosedale School Council and Association for the 2026–27 school year.

We are currently seeking interested parents for the following positions:

School Council

• Vice-Chair – supports the Chair and assists with coordination of Council initiatives.

• Key Communicator – attends Community of School Councils (COSC) meetings as needed (approx. 3 meetings/year) and shares CBE updates with School Council.

• Public Relations Coordinator – works with the School Association marketing committee to share school information, promote Rosedale in the community, and support welcoming new families.

School Association

• Vice-President – assists the President and helps coordinate Association activities.

• Director-at-Large (Fundraising Lead) – participates in board discussions and helps coordinate the Association's occasional fundraising initiatives.

• Director-at-Large (Marketing Lead) – participates in board discussions and helps keep the school website and social media channels up to date.

These roles are a great opportunity to help shape school initiatives, strengthen our parent community, and support the programs and events that make Rosedale such a special place for students and families. No previous board experience is required. Current board members are happy to answer questions and support new volunteers.

If you are interested in any of these positions, we would appreciate hearing from you before the AGM. While nominations may still be made at the meeting, knowing who is interested in advance helps us plan for a smooth transition and ensure all roles can be filled for the coming year.
